Joe attributes his success to his greatest supporter and fan—his wife, with whom he has been fortunate enough to share 24 wonderful years of marriage. For the past 30 years, I have dedicated my career to EMS, beginning as an EMT and advancing to the roles of medic and RN. I spent over 11 years as an RN in the Surgical/Trauma ICU at UH, all the while working on the ambulance as an SCT Nurse/medic. Additionally, I served as an APN in the CVICU at JSUMC for 3 years and am currently practicing as an APN in a local ICU. For the last 2 years, I have held the position of Chief Flight Nurse, and I am deeply passionate about my role and this program. I feel blessed every day I come to work.
